Earlier this month, the North Carolina State Lottery Board awarded its operators eight two-way sports betting licenses. Several heavy-tart athletes were named among the first successful applicants.
So far, FanDuel, Caesars Entertainment, DraftKings, Panatix, Bet365, BetMGM, ESPNBet and Underdog have secured licenses. All eight operators have confirmed their launch today, including FanDuel, which has conducted a sign-up promotion for new customers.
Also live today is DraftKings, which confirms the news at the end of last week. The launch in North Carolina means DraftKings will be active in 27 states across the U.S., as well as Ontario, Canada.
“Tar Hill State is home to an enthusiastic fan base and the most iconic college basketball program of all time, and now is an exciting time to introduce legalized online sports betting,” said DraftKings North America President Matt Kalish.
“We are proud to work with NASCAR as a market access partner and look forward to enhancing the fan experience across North Carolina with our fun, safe and seamless sports betting products.” 온라인경마
