Pant miraculously escaped early Friday when his luxury car fell asleep at the wheel on the Delhi-Deradun Expressway when it hit a road splitter and caught fire. According to ESPN Cricinfo report, Rishabh Pant’s MRI results for brain and spinal cord returned to ‘normal’. He underwent plastic surgery for facial injuries, lacerations and abrasions. Pant has pain and swelling, so he will have an MRI scan of his ankle and knee on Saturday.
Doctors at Max Hospital in Deradun, where Pant is hospitalized, added that “the knee splint was abnormal for a suspected right knee ligament injury and right ankle ligament injury.” The hospital’s latest medical bulletin said Pant was “stable, conscious and oriented.”
