Once FanDuel is acquired, OLG will no longer be able to cover $2 million to $4 million in annual operating costs, according to the letter. FanDuel will handle payment processing, promotions, marketing and retailer fees.
The operator will pay OLG a $5 million “platform conversion fee” within 37 days of entering into the agreement with Intralot. OLG’s extension of the agreement with Intralot would guarantee $10 million in revenue over a four-year period beginning in July 2025.
As things stand, Gambet DC is available through digital platforms and kiosks from lottery stores. Those platforms disappear under the FanDuel version, and kiosks from 63 lottery stores are replaced by FanDuel equipment. 파친코
The new agreement means FanDuel will be available across DMVs as it already lives in Maryland and Virginia. According to the letter, FanDuel has “about 50% market share” in Maryland and Virginia. The company has access to local markets through a partnership with the DC United Soccer team and operates a retail sportsbook at Audi Field.
