Hellmuth fights against costly errors

Phil Helmut entered the Poker World Series main event late again on Monday. However, the tournament was unplanned and almost eliminated. Helmut finished Day 1 of Saturday with 11,800 points after his usual highly choreographed late arrival. He was blinded by about 25,000 points on Saturday for more than four hours of play. And he didn’t get any traction on the table when he was there.

Helmus was scheduled to make up 2,031 Monday’s Day 2A Field with Thursday’s Day 1A Survivors with Day 1C Survivors. However, Helmus was nowhere when the card went on air shortly after noon. 안전한 파워볼사이트

As his chip stack dwindled to less than 7,000, Helmus took three breaks, saving the embarrassment of being blindsided by the tournament. First of all, day 2A started 10 minutes late because the ceremony of “Shuffle Up Deal” was a little longer. Then, his table got caught up in a complicated hand with an error in the all-in.

After the chips were sent out, one of the players noticed they were 5,000 short. It took the floor about 10 minutes to fix the problem, and Helums’ stack dodged a few ants. Helmut’s third break came when Mike Matusow saw a Twitter chat about Helmut not showing up and came to the rescue.

According to Matusow’s Twitter feed, he told security to go into Helmut’s room in Aria and wake him up as he was playing at the main event. Of course, Matusow gave Helmut grief over this on Twitter.
