‘Correa Case’ Lee Jung-hoo May Fail SF Contract… US Media “Leaves Final Stage of Transfer”

MLB Trade Rumors said on the 14th (Korea Standard Time), “KBO League outfielder Lee Jung-hoo recently agreed to sign a six-year, $113 million contract with San Francisco,” adding, “The final stage of Lee’s transfer is left. The medical test will take place on the 15th.”

Lee and Cody Bellinger were cited as center fielder’s biggest fish in the Stove League. Eventually, Lee entered the Major League by signing a $113 million contract with San Francisco. The amount is about three times higher than Ryu’s six-year 36 million dollar deal, Kim Ha-sung’s four-year guarantee of 28 million dollars, and Kim Ha-sung’s 39 million dollars for four plus one year.

Lee also beat Japanese fielders. He beat Seiya Suzuki’s 85 million dollars for five years, Masataka Yoshida’s 90 million dollars for five years, and Kodai Senga’s 75 million dollars for five years, setting the highest amount ever posted by an Asian batter.

However, not all of Lee’s contracts have been completed. There are still medical tests left. If the medical test goes wrong, the contract could be canceled.

San Francisco agreed to a 13-year, $350 million mega contract with Carlos Correa last winter, but withdrew the contract after a medical test. Correa was rejected by San Francisco at the time due to a leg injury he wore in the minor leagues. 에볼루션 바카라사이트

Lee suffered a left ankle injury in July this season. He then performed surgery to seal the membrane surrounding the tendon to avoid fractures or ligament damage. He made a comeback on Oct. 10. Although he is highly likely to pass the medical test, he cannot be assured until the end due to his background in surgery.

In response, MLB Trade Rumors said, “San Francisco fans will remember that Correa’s contract was canceled,” adding, “Lee Jung-hoo had ankle surgery in the 2023 season. Of course, San Francisco knew this from an early date.”
