Unibet, Betson, Come on, Bet365 and others have been operating illegally in Norway for several years, and are undergoing withdrawal after we conduct an audit of the Norwegian market.
“These companies are not allowed to offer or market money games to Norwegians. The fact that some of the largest illegally operated gaming companies in Norway are pulling out will prevent gambling problems and contribute to safer and more responsible gaming delivery in the Norwegian market,” says Henrik Nordall, deputy director of the Norwegian Game Authority.
Norway is not as profitable a market for illegal gambling companies as it used to be. Today, illegal advertising on TV has disappeared, and payment services have been banned well.
“This shows that regulation is working. It has become very difficult for illegal companies to operate in Norway. We also provide guidance to companies hoping to withdraw from the Norwegian market.”

Companies that do not withdraw from the Norwegian market risk blocking their websites when new restrictions are in place next year. This means that if you try to access some of these pages, the Norwegian Spellar will stop.
According to a recent census conducted by the University of Bergen on behalf of the Norwegian Game Agency, the number of Norwegians with violin problems has halved since the previous survey in 2019.
This shows that the work done by the Game Agency to prevent illegal companies has worked well, but it is still a money game company that is not illegal in the Norwegian market.
