The Athletic reported on the 4th (Korea Standard Time) that Turin Prince and the Milwaukee Bucks signed a one-year contract.

Prince joined the Lakers at a relatively low price of $4.5 million for a year ahead of last season. He averaged 8.9 points and a 39.6% three-point shooting success rate in the 2023-2024 season, going back and forth between starters and benches.

Prince, who is back in the FA market after the season, left an interview hoping to stay with the Lakers. “The quality of life that my family has felt in Los Angeles is something we haven’t felt in the last three or four seasons. That’s why staying in LA is the No. 1 option in the FA. I want to be a 100% Lakers for sure,” he told “Lakers Nation.”

However, Prince’s remarks did not come true. In line with the Lakers’ various situations, he has to change his team again.

The Lakers signed four-year contracts with Max Christie and LeBron with DeAngelo Russell and Jackson Haze opt-in this summer. Even though Prince is not on the roster right now, there are so many salary caps that need to be adjusted. Regardless of Prince’s mind, it was difficult to leave it on the Lakers.

The prince`s new nest has become Milwaukee. As Prince boasts wing defense and accurate shooting skills, he is expected to play with Yannis Antetokounmpo and display stellar performance like Altoran.

Coincidentally, Dabin Hamm, the Lakers’ head coach last season, made his comeback as Milwaukee’s coach after being fired. Prince will share the same team with Ham for the second consecutive season.
