The Virginia Bristol Casino Hits Historic Revenue Milestone

Bristol Casino, Virginia, the U.S.A., which will become a Hard Rock Casino, set a historic milestone in March with a remarkable adjusted gross income of $16.3 million, beating previous revenue records. The figures, released in a report by the Virginia Lottery, represent a remarkable 9% increase over the previous best month and an 18% jump over March 2023.

Bristol Casino Breaks Revenue Record For Slots And Table Games
Bristol Casino’s success is attributed to strong performances in all major sectors of the game. Slot machine revenue soared to unprecedented levels, topping the previous record set in December 2023 of $13,009,482, crossing the $13 million mark for the first time ever.

Meanwhile, table games also surged sharply, generating more than $3 million in revenue for the first time, reaching $3,260,614, beating previous highs reached in September 2022.

Comparing figures for March 2024 with those for the same period in 2023, adjusted gross income experienced an impressive 18% increase. It also exceeded average monthly earnings by 19% for the 20-month period the casino operated from its temporary location.

Hard Rock officials previously announced plans to open the newly constructed Bristol casino on site by the end of the year, along with a 300-room hotel. However, the opening schedule for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol was adjusted in February, with construction costs soaring to more than $550 million, well above $300 million in 2019 and $400 million in 2022.

Despite the budget increase, construction remains on track for a summer opening, with a goal of July. 파워볼실시간

Bristol Casino’s Surge In Revenue Pays RIC Over $976K
Bristol Casino’s significant surge in revenue translates to a significant $976,206 payment to the Regional Improvement Commission (RIC), which represents more than a dozen local governments in Southwest Virginia. The casino, which is subject to an 18% tax, allocates a third of that amount to the RIC. The law mandates that local governments within the RIC use the funds to improve transportation, education, and public safety infrastructure.

The RIC includes counties such as Lee, Scott, Wise, Decenson, Buchanan, Russell, Washington, Smith, Tasman, Grayson, Bland and Whyte, along with the cities of Bristol and Norton. In particular, funds are not allocated according to demographic adjustments and are distributed evenly to 14 local governments.
