The New Zealand National Lottery Team and Scientific Games

Scientific Games has been named the new system technology provider for New Zealand’s national lottery, Lotto NZ. A Lotto NZ official recently announced that it will replace Lottery’s existing core game systems and online game systems with new, fully integrated technologies, including lottery retail systems, retail point-of-sale technologies, digital lottery platforms and digital content integration hubs.

As part of the seven-year agreement, Scientific Games’ advanced symphony gaming system was selected to support communication over Lotto NZ’s lottery-based game engine and retail network and more than 1,200 Contour.v retail terminals and wireless ticket checkers. The company’s digital lottery platform and all-new digital content collector SG Content Hub will offer online games, including lottery-based games, Scientific Games’ eInstant games and major lottery-focused digital game studios around the world. The agreement begins with the live date of the new system and can be renewed for up to 12 years.

Lotto NZ currently offers Lotto, Powerball, Strike, Bull’s Eye, Keno, and Instant Kiwi (retail and online).

“Scientific Games’ commitment to delivering attractive, socially responsible and leading gaming technology with its customers firmly at the center was very aligned with the value of Lotto New Zealand and the future focus of our business,” said Chris Lyman, CEO of Lotto New Zealand. “We are confident of a cooperative and successful partnership in the years ahead, and we are excited to get started.” 파칭코

We chose Scientific Games as our technology partner based on our goals, our range of integrated products and services that will help us achieve them, and our 50 years of industry knowledge and experience.”

Each year, Lotto NZ transfers 100% of its revenue to the NZ Lottery Grant Committee, providing essential funding for activities and projects to thousands of community groups and organizations nationwide, and more than $5.5 billion has been returned to the New Zealand community since Lotto NZ was established as a crown entity in 1987.

“Lotto New Zealand is a recognized leader in the global lottery industry, and we are committed to implementing technology that will take the business responsibly to the next level for the benefit of all New Zealanders,” said Michael Conforty, president of International Science Games. “We are committed to helping Lotto New Zealand achieve its goal of maximizing revenue for New Zealand society.
